ZooLights Express, Powered by Pepco, Brings Eight Nights of Holiday Sparkle to Washington, D.C. Wards
Friday and Saturday Night Mobile Magic Begins Nov. 27
ZooLights Express—powered by Pepco—will bring the colorful glow of Washington, D.C.’s beloved Smithsonian’s National Zoo holiday tradition into the community beginning Nov. 27. Festively decorated with light displays and featuring “Panda Claws,” the 24-foot ZooLights Express truck will hit the road, visiting one Washington, D.C. ward each Friday and Saturday night on Nov. 27 (Ward 1), 28 (Ward 2), Dec. 4 (Ward 3), 5 (Ward 4), 11 (Ward 5), 12 (Ward 6), 18 (Ward 7) and 19 (Ward 8) from 6 to 8 p.m.
Usually held onsite at the Zoo for the past 13 years, ZooLights has been reimagined into ZooLights Express, a distanced and safe way to bring joy and bit of holiday sparkle to D.C. residents. Specific ZooLights Express routes will be posted on the Zoo’s website and shared on social media encouraging people to watch for the truck in their neighborhood.
